Here “through school readiness approach we are trying to teach the basic concepts of why to learn, what to learn, what to learn, how to learn before the child starts learning when he enters the school in class-1. Most of the time every child has passed through the Anganwadi while taking admission in the school. There is also a separate learning environment prescribed, but some children who have not been touched by Anganwadi are given an opportunity to assimilate with other children before the start of school education.
During the 'School Readiness Approach' project, children are exposed to colors, shapes, places, surrounding environment, emotions, structure, pre-readiness for listening and speaking, relationships, family, health, attachment style, manners, social skills, likes and dislikes, self-confidence for learning. Moving towards installation, life skills, sensory activities and trying to bond with other children in the class.
