Subject: Matter of awarding the best teacher at taluka, district and state level.
According to the above subject and the relevant resolution stating that the selection process and its structure for awarding the best teachers at the taluka, district, and state level to encourage the state's best teachers have been framed, as per the Resolution dated 25/06/2019 of the Government, Education Department. And the best teacher award is given at the taluka level, district level and state level subject to these policy rules. Which is attached with this, is sent.
The following action will have to be taken at the district level as per the provision of the Resolution dated 25/06/2019 of the education department regarding awarding the best teacher at the taluka, district and state level.
(1) The Government of the Government, Non-Government Aided Primary, Secondary, Higher Secondary Schools in the State is currently selecting the best teachers from among the Government, Non-Government Aided Institutions educating teachers, headmasters and teachers with disabilities. . Accordingly, to select the best teachers to be awarded in September 2021, a proposal with recommendations is sought from the selection committee headed by the District Education Officer from the taluka/district level.
(2) The District Education Officer is asked to send such proposals in person to this office as per the following schedule. Delayed submission of district proposals can result in many administrative difficulties. Take care not to let this happen.
If the name of a teacher is recommended by the teacher himself, parents, members of the society or others involved in the field of education, it should be considered as a proposal.
After first selecting the taluka level for the state-level award, after selecting from the district level, proposals for receiving the state award should be made available to the office here in person within the date and time mentioned below.
(3) For the award at the taluka level and at the district level, the committee appointed by the aforesaid resolution shall complete the work within the prescribed time limit. Because of the extraordinary circumstances arising out of the present COVID-19, the District Selection Committee shall exempt the Committee of Experts from conducting face-to-face visits to the schools concerned for the proposals received for grading. And based on the work done by the teachers in the previous year and other matters will have to be checked and multiplied. In order not to delay the selection process, a selection committee has to be called at the taluka level and at the district level to select a teacher for the award. The selection process for awarding the prize at the state level has to be completed and the proposal of the teachers for selection at the state level has to be sent to this office in person on the date as shown in the table above.
(4) As per the provision paragraph (f) of the Resolution dated 25/06/2019 of the education department, only the government and subsidized school teacher has to be selected for the best teacher at the taluka, district and state level.
To get a maximum number of proposals from the eligible teachers, action has to be taken as per the provisions of the Resolution dated 25/06/2019 of the Government, Education Department. In addition, a public tender for the best teacher award will be issued by the office here.
Annexure-1 and certificates attached herewith for proposing the state award are given in the prescribed form. Fill in the required details and information, get the signature of the employee and the officer, prepare the proposal and send it.
