28% DA Hike For Gujarat Government Employees: July 2021
The Narendra Modi-led government has agreed to release the pending dearness allowance (DA) and dearness relief (DR) of employees and pensioners from July 1, 2021.Central Government Employees are eagerly waiting for the Dearness Allowance (DA), which has been due from as far back as January 2021.
According to the All India Consumer Price Index (AICPI), DA of central government employees can be increased by 4 percent. The AICPI report also mentions that after the DA is reinstated, the Dearness Allowance of the central employees may increase from 17 percent to 28 percent. This includes a 3 percent increase in DA from January to June 2020, a 4 percent increase from July to December 2020, and a 4 percent increase from January to June 2021. employees and pensioners from July 1, 2021. The Dearness Allowance (DA) restoration of the central government employees is going to take place from 1st July. The center has already made an announcement in this regard as the Minister of State (MoS) at the Ministry of Finance has already made an announcement in this regard in the Rajya Sabha in March 2021.
However, for further information to the central government employees, DA restoration will not just lead to rise in their monthly 7th CPC salary but it would lead to boost for their Provident Fund (PF) and gratuity as well.
