Different methods are used by the class teacher during the teaching work to take interest in the subject and to focus on them. Almost every subject has some specific method. Today we will learn about a special method of geography, the regional (natural region) method.
An author named Herbtson, in his book "The Senior Geography", introduces the regional (natural region) method. He has advocated in this method that the student should study the countries or regions of the world divided into natural regions instead of political divisions.

If different countries and regions with similar climates are kept in one section and students are taught by the natural region method, they can easily assimilate different things. Although this method is mostly used in the upper standards, as a teacher we must be aware of this method.
In this system, different countries of the world are divided into five main divisions and a total of 19 natural regions.
The five main sections outlined in the book are:
(1) The region of the equator
(2) hot regions
(3) Warm temperate regions
(4) Temperate regions
(5) Cold regions
Find out which natural regions will fall into these five main sections from your level. If a unit is taught to the students by this method, they become well acquainted with the location, atmosphere, climate, rainfall, flora, fauna, industry, trade, import-export, animal husbandry, agriculture, etc. of that region on earth.
The student can easily remember all the things without the bar. This method develops reasoning, comparative power, analytical power and causal power in the students. The curiosity of the students can also be satisfied if this method is used by the teacher.
