According to the above topic, GCERT organises Balmela activities in two sections yearly to impart various life skills to the students. Out of which Balmela is organized for students of Std-1 to 5 as well as life skills-based Balmela is organized for students of Std-6 To 8.

Learn to live a happy and peaceful life. Various activities will connect the students with real-life as well as prepare them to live a better and better life. Self-reliance by solving small and big questions in one's daily life.

The relationship between school and society grows. Fun at home in lockdown I have my home My thoughts I have to organize Bal Mela and Life Skill Mela keeping in mind the following instructions Stay at home Stay safe.
Planning and arrangement:
- Getting an explanation of the new approach.
- List of life skills tailored to the local environment and needs.
- Sections of different activities corresponding to the list of 'life skills.
- Allocation of grounds and classrooms for life skills-based activities as per the school's physical structure.
- Assign work to the school teachers for management and guidance in the department/room according to their interests.
- Teachers seek the help of enthusiastic children for the activities of that department.
- Avoid any kind of risk e.g. Teach not to plug the switchboard for ironing clothes, just to choose the gas bottle, to just light the fuse .... etc.

Section-1: Creative Activities
- Making from foliage, making from lust, making the best out of waste.
- Make different patterns out of paper.
- Creating various shapes/composition samples from plant B.
- To make different patterns from peacock feathers, fill rangoli.
- A variety of useless invitation leaflets, concoctions, greeting cards, etc.
- Making designs, making rangoli from wood chips.
- Four or five-sentence sentences, story and in different languages
- Learning to write poetry, Mehdi's design.
- Making garlands and bouquets from flowers and various branches.
- To make toys related to standard 6 to 8 from clay.
- Prepare geometric shapes for mathematics and make different pictures out of them.

Section-2: Let's learn
- To build an electric fuse, to connect a gas cylinder.
- To tie a piece of paper, to sew a button, to polish shoes.
- To repair the bicycle, to give an understanding of the working of the bank.
- Teaching ironing, using mobile internet.
- Teaching writing, photography, filing and stapler pins.
- Managing devices, cartooning books.
- Nailing screws, bulbs, tubes, horticulture.
- Teaching using a vegetable chopper, pressure cooker and mixer.
- Bed filling, first aid, accounting.
Section-3 - Awareness, Hygiene and Decoration
- Making decorative pottery.
- Addiction Free Campaign and Disaster Management.
- Make garlands and wall pieces.
- Cleaning of body parts.
- Class cleaning.
- Cleaning the school grounds.
