Vaghani said 80 chariots will be a part of the yatra which will be carried out in different zones across the state under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, other ministers, Members of Parliament and the Legislative Assembly of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Vande Gujarat Vikas Yatra will be organized by the Municipal Corporation in the first week of July. The BJP government will take the development work done during the tenure of two decades to the citizens in this yatra starting on July 1. The program will be organized in all the 30 wards of the Municipal Corporation in two weeks. Vande Gujarat Vikas Yatra will be organized from July 1 to 15. Under this program, various works of the government and schemes will be publicized.

This yatra will be organized under the Amrit Mahotsav to mark 75 years of India's independence. In the program, the heads of the page committee, the members of the page committee, and the booth committee will contact the people of the booth. Through this program, information about the programs and schemes of the BJP government will be made available to the public.
