Subject: Necessary instructions regarding examination of all subjects of class 3 to 8 of first-semester examination 2022-23 and similar timetable.
Given the above subject and reference to state that the schedule of uniform examination for semester evaluation of students studying in Government, Granted and Independent Primary Schools of all mediums in the State is enclosed for which the following instructions are to be observed.

1. The pattern of each subject for the first semester examinations of Std-3 to 8 will be prepared from the state level and given to all district education training centres. Question papers will be prepared by diet as per this prescribed pattern.
2. The first-semester syllabus will be taken into account in all subjects of class 3rd to 8th in the Sadar test.

3. Gujarati (First Language), Maths, Science, Social Science, Environment subject tests based on the same schedule Government and aided schools along with independent primary schools also have to prepare the test papers based on the prescribed format based on the prescribed schedule. Also, the test of the rest of the subjects will have to be conducted by the independent primary schools voluntarily based on the schedule prepared at their school level and taking into account the prescribed format. The aided schools have to pay the prescribed amount for the question papers to the District Primary Education Officer/Administrator.

4. If self-sufficient schools wish, they can obtain all the question papers from the District Primary Education Officer/Administrator and use them in their school. For this, the amount prescribed by the District Primary Education Officer/Administrator shall be paid by that self-supporting institution.

5. Government as well as aided primary schools shall conduct common tests of all subjects based on a common schedule.
6. In the schools where the shift system is in force, the examination of all the subjects of all the standards shall be conducted as per the given schedule.
7. Test papers will be prepared and issued through District Education and Training Bhawan.

8. In which the proof, and language correction of the paper will be the responsibility of the District Education Committee - District Primary Education Officer and in Town Education Committee - Governing Officer.
9. Students in class 3rd and 4th have to write answers on the test paper. Students in class 5th to 8th have to write the answers in a separate answer book.

10. Necessary arrangement of maps in social science subject and graph paper in mathematics subject shall be made by the district administration/corporation along with the test papers.
11. Scrutiny of answer sheets under semester tests has to be done at the school level itself.
12. Detailed instructions regarding online data entry of examination results will be given separately through Samagra Shiksha, Gandhinagar.
